One of the way that we can earn passive income is definitely through YouTube videos.
Many Youtubers have successfully built an empire through video streaming and YouTube is definitely a good place to start.
Well, I also started to post some videos just to see how it goes.
Looking at the current performance of my channel so far, it has only garnered 3152 views so far 😁😁
Well, since I am doing this as a hobby, I was pretty happy though.
Looking at the top performing video, it seems that the video of finance is performing the best so far.
I think I will post more of those type of videos moving forward.
With the current performance of my channel, it is definitely not qualify to meet the requirement for YouTube monetization.
In order to be qualified, need to meet the following 3 criteria:
- Have at least 1,000 subscribers.
- Have at least 4,000 hours of watch time within the past 12 month.
- Have a linked AdSense account.
- Follow all YouTube monetization policies.
So I guess I need to invest more time to create more videos.
How You Can Earn Through YouTube Videos
I know some of you are asking, how much you can earn through the videos?
Well, accoridng to some YouTube Revenue calculator, if you have about 50,000 views per day, you can earn between USD$71.25 to USD$118.75 per day.
That would be between USD$26,006 to USD$43,344 per year.
This is not bad at all.
At the current USD to MYR conversion of about 4.04, that is more than RM100,000 per year!
